Lars is an experienced agile practitioner with a taste for working at the frontline where agile and traditional management thinking collides.
With a background in engineering and as a developer, Lars has worked with project and program management in the context of everything from small agile teams using Kanban to a big development organization constrained by traditional rules of management. Currently, Lars is working as Agile Program Manager and change agent at LEGO where he drives the efforts of scaling agile above the team level in a global organization with more than 150 people.
How LEGO transformed its digital marketing organization from 16 scrum teams working with isolated backlogs to working with shared priorities across all teams using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as a source of inspiration. How we do big room planning with 100+ people, how we work with the less agile parts of LEGO (e.g. Corporate IT and the physical manufacturing) and all the other fun things that happen when agile scales above the team level in a big corporate company.
